Julie's Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Overnight Oats
One of Julie's favorites to make.
Oatmeal raisin cookie overnight oats These are great to make because they're so easy to prepare! There's never an excuse to skip breakfast when you make overnight oats. I have made all different types so I will share this one with you first! I also have a pumpkin pie overnight oat recipe that is delicious. You can heat these up in the morning or eat them cold, it's up to you. Personally, I love eating them cold. Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats (I used quick cooking because that's what I had, but prefer the rolled oats) 1 1/2 cups of almond milk, unsweetened 2-4 tablespoons of raisins, depends on your liking 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1-2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (optional) Directions: Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl (I mix mine in a Tupperware, that way in the morning I just grab it and go). Next, add the wet ingredients to the dry. After it's all mixed together, place in the fridge overnight. It's that easy! The oats will soak up the almond milk and will taste so delicious! In the morning, you can then choose to top the oats with 1 to 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup.
